Randy Stephen Parker

Randy Stephen Parker, age 59, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at UNC Health Blue Ridge. 

Randy was born in Rutherford County on April 4, 1965 to the late Diane Lawing Parker and Delmer Manning Parker. Randy was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He enjoyed racing motor cross, go-karts, and is known for having a big heart. 

In addition to his father, Randy is survived by his two daughters; Jordan Smallwood (Bryan) and Brooke Wallace (Ryan); brother, Edward Parker; two grandchildren, Rylan Collins and Piper Collins. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Sugar Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at Sugar Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
