Randy Lee Ledford

Randy Lee Ledford, 44, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away in the early morning hours of Monday, May 16, 2022 at Mission Hospital McDowell.

He was born on October 12, 1977 to Randy and Teresa Nichols Ledford.

Randy formerly worked as a mechanic, but he had a heart for carp fishing and often made a living doing so. He truly loved his church family at Coxes Creek Free Will Baptist Church. He was a great father to his children, who were his pride and joy, and enjoyed being involved in their lives. He loved his wife and had a heart like no other toward her, his family, and friends. His mother held a special place in his heart as their relationship continued to grow. Randy also liked BINGO and attending baseball games.

He is preceded in death by his special grandmother, Frances O’Dear.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Amanda Parker Ledford; four children, Brianna Nickel Mills, Seth Lee Ledford, Caleb Reece Tipton, and Dalilah Jade Arbutus Tipton; two grandchildren, Myla and Haven Mills; and six siblings, Valerie Ledford, Josh Ledford, Alisha “Nikki” Ledford and her children Haley and Troy, Shasta Martin and her children Greenlee and Gage, Alex Martin (Lisa) and his children Aubree and Cheyenne, and Rachel Bartlett.

A private family service will be held.
