Randy Keith Conner

Randy Keith Conner, age 68, of Union Mills passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at St. Joseph Campus in Asheville.

Mr. Conner was born March 22, 1949 in McDowell County, NC to the late Charles Fred Conner and Dollie Jane Poteat Conner.  He worked as a carpenter and was a very intelligent and talented man.  His hobbies were gardening and making molasses and he always enjoyed helping others.  More than anything, he loved his wife and children.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Juanita Conner and his brother, Larry Dale Conner.

Left behind to cherish his memories are four children, Charity Wood (Lester), Jacob Conner (Brandy), Randy Conner (Barbara) and Margaret Dalton; five siblings, Patsy Arrowood (Jerry), Mickey Conner (Linda), Junior Conner, Jamie Conner (Linda) and Paula Medford (Terry); six grandchildren, Caleb Conner, Justin Conner, Jessica Dalton, Randy Dalton, Kyle Conner and Megan Conner; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory.  A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the funeral service at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
