Randall "Randy" Leroy Guffey

Randall “Randy” Leroy Guffey, age 62, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Mission Hospital McDowell.  Born in Oakland, Michigan on October 2, 1954, he was the son of the late Frank and Nellie Mae Stacy Guffey. 

Randy will be remembered for his love of drawing, writing poems, and “cruising” on his scooter. 

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Lillie Mae Allen; one daughter, Mindy Faye Guffey; five brothers, Ronald Guffey (Barbara), Raymond Guffey, Roger Guffey, Ritchie Guffey (Jacqueline) and Russell Guffey; and two grandsons, Caleb Smith and Justin Cox. 

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Alan Sailors officiating.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
