Philip Eric Roberts

Philip Eric Roberts, age 67, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Burke Hospice & Palliative Care in Valdese.  A native of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, born October 20, 1950, he was the son of the late Thomas and Georgia King Roberts. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Leta Roberts Schwarz; and one brother, Allen Roberts. 

Loved by everyone who knew him, Philip is survived by his brother-in-law, Michael Schwarz; special friends, Eddie Williams and Lisa Frye; along with numerous other friends. 

A private service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of McDowell Assisted Living for the remarkable assistance they provided Philip during his stay there and to Burke Hospice & Palliative Care for the exceptional care they provided during his time of illness.
