Penny Lee Gross

Penny Lee Goforth Gross, age 60, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 with her family by her side. A native of Hamilton County, Indiana, Penny was born on September 25, 1960 to Emma Testerman Goforth and the late Linton Goforth.
Penny loved being outdoors, working in her yard, going to the beach and was an avid horse lover. She loved her family, especially her granddaughter, "Baby Girl". Penny was known for always putting others before herself. 

Left to cherish her memories along with her mother Emma are her husband, Jeff Gross; two children, Halley Allison (Kevin) and James Gross. Also surviving Penny are one sister, Susie Goforth; one brother, Jimmy Goforth and one granddaughter, Allyssa "Baby Girl" Allison.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Reverend Gary Greene officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the church . Interment will follow the service at the Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.
