Penny Mae Flack

Penny Mae Bates Flack, 60, of Nebo, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at her residence.

Penny was born in McDowell County on October 17, 1961 to the late Alfred Bates and the late Lockie Hughes Bates. She loved antiquing and visiting thrift stores. Penny also enjoyed yard work and gardening.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Penny will be greatly missed.

Penny is preceded in death in addition to her parents by a son, Colt Flack and a daughter, Fantasy Huffman.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of thirty six years, William W. Flack; four children, Levi M. Flack (Samantha), Karen Mullins (Randy), Anita Mullins and Tammy Flack; daughter-in-law, Patricia Burns; two sisters Susie Bates and Darlene Bates; two brothers, Ronnie Bates and Rex Bates; ten grandchildren, including Nolan Flack and Jocelyn Flack and a number of great grandchildren.

In keeping with Penny’s wishes no services are planned.
