Peggy Ann Lane Sisk

Peggy Ann Lane Sisk, 82, of Nebo, departed this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at her residence in Nebo. She was a native of McDowell County being born on June 28, 1942 to her late parents, Nollie Lane and Tina Buchanan Lane. 

She was a faithful member of Trinity Methodist Church where she served as the pianist. She thoroughly enjoyed reading her bible and spent many hours doing so. She also really enjoyed her high school reunions. Peggy spent her career in healthcare where she worked as a CNA. She formerly worked for Dr. McIntosh for 25 years and was currently employed at Autumn Care of Marion for 35 Years. She loved her family and looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They will all miss her immensely. 

Preceding her in death are her husband, Frank Sisk, a grandson, Cody McMahan; brothers, Donald, Ray, and Guy Lane; her sister Lucille Duncan and a special friend, Bobby Barnes. 

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Vick Swann and Todd Sisk; her two grandchildren Robbie Swann and Tosha Buckner (Brandon); two great grandchildren, Liam Lowery and Iris Boisvert and a number of nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Trinity Methodist Church from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at the church with the Rev. Don Morrison and Ms. Andrea Guffey officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Methodist Church Cemetery.
