Peggy Lou Wilson Nix

Peggy Lou Wilson Nix, 82, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Monday, November 01, 2021 at Autumn Care of Marion.

She was born in Union, South Carolina on July 01, 1939 to the late Benjamin Wilson and Dorothy McGalliard Wilson.

Peggy was a Baxter Healthcare retiree where she worked in filling. She loved her family immensely, and she had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. While at Autumn Care, she enjoyed playing bingo.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Nix; and her two children, Mickie Lynn Nix and Lawrence Jeffery Nix.

She is survived by her seven grandchildren, Brooke Nix (Terry Hughes), Samantha Wilson (Tanner), Jada Nix, Alex Fabian (Nicole), Leti Fabian, Hortensia Fabian, and Mya Fabian; four great grandchildren, Elijah Hughes, Isaiah Hughes, Winston Fabian, Oaklan Putman, and one on the way; one brother, Douglas Wilson; and a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Fabian.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 04, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
