Pearl Frances Hundley Smith

Pearl Frances Hundley Smith, 75, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022 at her home.

A native of Ruffin, North Carolina, Pearl was born on April 10, 1947 to the late Willis and Stacy Hundley.

She was a talented seamstress who was proud of her work. She could sew or make anything she wanted. She was a mother to everyone she met, and she thrives from taking care of others as long as her health allowed. Pearl also enjoyed to cook.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Frank Smith; and a daughter, Ann Roope.

She is survived by four children, David Barbour, Tina Blue (Mike), Tonya Howerton (Tim), and James Oakes; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four siblings, Andrew Hundley, Uldine Harris, Jean Dingman, and Joan Branch; and special family friends, Allen Carr and Toni Humble.

In accordance with her wishes, the family will hold a private service.
