Pauline McCoyle Rector, 83, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, December 07, 2021 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills on what would have been her 64th wedding anniversary.
She was born in Rutherford County on July 06, 1938 to the late Shuford and Bessie Brown McCoyle.
Pauline retired from Coats America after working there for over 40 years. She loved her church, Gethsemane Free Will Baptist Church, her family, and the beach all in that order. She also had a special cat, Scoob.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rector; a daughter, Joyce Ann Rector; daughter-in-law, Sharon Rector; and 12 siblings.
She is survived by her three sons, Ronnie Lee Rector, Robert Lynn Rector, and Charles Ray Rector (Rebecca); six grandchildren, Jacob Rector (Dakota), Casie McCartha, Sarah Washburn (Travis), Sheila Rector, Billie Dawn Rector, and Travis “Dink” Rector; ten great grandchildren, Celicia, Carol Rose, Kaylyn, Camila, Denver, Lillian, Nova, Paislee, Charles, and Sydney Rae; one brother, William “Bill” McCoyle (Shirley); numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Tammy Byrd.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Revs. Ralph Reep and Dean Owenby officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
