Paul Edward Richey

Paul Edward Richey, age 46, of Marion, North Carolina passed away at his residence on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. A native of Buncombe County, Paul was born on December 2, 1971 to Jerry Richey and the late Kay Patton Richey.

Paul enjoyed talking and helping others. Another of his joys was to make people laugh. He loved his pets and was an avid NASCAR fan with Jeff Gordan being his favorite driver.

Along with his father Jerry Richey and wife Lynne, Paul is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Bill Dillon officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service at P.G. Baptist Church Cemetery.
