Paul Allen Bartlett

Paul Allen Bartlett, age 76, of Marion, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Mission Hospital McDowell.

Paul was born August 31, 1942 in McDowell County, NC to the late Paul Harrison Bartlett and Eva Christine Workman Bartlett.  He worked for Broyhill Furniture until his retirement.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Hughes.

Those left behind to cherish Paul’s memory are his beloved wife of 53 years, Ruth Geraldine Edwards Bartlett; one brother, Gary Bartlett and wife, Ann; one nephew, Gary “Dink” Bartlett, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Beam Funeral Service.  A funeral service to celebrate Paul’s life will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Beane-Hall.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
