Patsy Sue McCloud

On the morning of Tuesday, January 28, 2020, Ms. Patsy Sue Edwards McCloud, age 65 of Spruce Pine, departed from this earthly world at the Mitchell House of Spruce Pine. The daughter of the late Estal Edwards and Myrtle Atkins Edwards, she was born in Yancey County on June 23, 1954.

Known to be a very happy person, Patsy loved working in her flower gardens and she never met a stranger. She especially loved her children and her precious grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories are her beloved children, Carl Robinson (Jennifer Nicholson), and Chrissy Metcalf; four siblings, Michael Metcalf, Sean Edwards, Johnathan Edwards (Amy), and Jennifer Edwards Clem (Joel). She also leaves behind two precious grandchildren, Airiana Robinson, and Jaedin Robinson.

A private celebration of Patsy’s life will be held at a later date.
