Patsy Dutton

On the evening of Sunday, August 30, 2020, Mrs. Patsy Davis Dutton, age 64, of Drexel, North Carolina, passed away at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.  The daughter of the late Leonard and Lena Davis, she was a native of McDowell County, North Carolina, born on November 29, 1955.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Greg Justice; and three siblings, Dennis Davis, Juanita Waldroup and Brenda Waldroup. 

Known for her contagious smile, laughter and love for everyone, Patsy was a true fighter during the many medical issues that she had a battled along the way.  She truly believed in the Lord and the support her family provided her. 

Patsy is survived by her husband, Joseph Dutton; one son, Jeremy Dutton (Brittany Coffey); five siblings, Wayne Davis, Bobby Davis, Gladys Dutton, Carolyn Waldroup and Revonda Hubbard; and two grandchildren, Chase Justice and Kassidy Justice.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 03, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion.  Interment will follow at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
