Patsy Boone

Patsy McKinney Boone, loving mother and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 01, 2017, at her residence in Marion at the age of 82.  Born in Mitchell County, North Carolina on June 10, 1934 she was the daughter of late Willard and Lois Buchanan McKinney.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Boone who passed away November 01, 2005. 

Following many years of service, Patsy retired from Baxter Healthcare.  She enjoyed working with her flowers, but mostly, loved spending time with her family.  Patsy will be remembered for always being there for those she loved.  For over 30 years she was a member of New Manna Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Robinson and husband Freddie; one son, Michael Boone; one grandson, Ryan Robinson and wife Erica; and three great grandchildren, Lacey Robinson, Katie Robinson and Logan Robinson. 

A service to honor the life of Miss Patsy will be held on Wednesday, May 03, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at New Manna Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Shirley and Pastor Bruce Ward officiating.  Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
