Patricia Ann Sisk

Patricia Ann Sisk, age 77, of Marion, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at The McDowell Hospital.  Born in Greenville, S.C. on April 28, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Georgia Turbyfill Minish.  A loving mother and grandmother, Patricia retired as a secretary at McDowell Technical Community College.  She was a member of Ashworth Road Missionary Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ray Sisk; infant son, Randall Ray Sisk; brother, Harold Minish; sister, Sybil Minish Jamison; brother, Donald D. Minish.  

She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Snypes and husband, Alan; one son, Eric Sisk and wife, Melissa; her five precious grandchildren, LTJG Ashley Snypes (USN), Courtney Snypes, Erika, Marissa and Micah Sisk and one sister-in-law, Connie Minish.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Ashworth Road Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church.
