Patricia Rae Price Warren

Patricia Rae Price Warren, 74, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on May 16, 1949 in McDowell County to the late Albin Lee Price and Edna Gallion Price. She was married to her husband of 25 years, Freddie Lee Warren. She was loving, selfless, and kind. She loved roses, Motown and oldies, spending time outdoors camping and was even known to put on her camo and go hunting and fishing with Freddie. She adored her family and was a very involved mother and grandmother. She dedicated her professional life to serving the elderly and developmentally disabled as a nurse at McDowell Nursing Center, J Iverson Riddle Center, and Broughton Hospital. She attended Marion Church of Christ prior to the onset of her illness. She will be missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Leonard Price, Reece Price, Betty White, Joann Suttles, and Billie Crump.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie Lee Warren; two children, Emilee Luther Propst (Wesley) and Ric Luther (Elizabeth); stepdaughter, Teresa Lowman; seven grandchildren, Emma Propst, Eli Propst, Eason Propst, Alexandra Luther, Christopher Luther, Katherine Luther, and Andrew Luther; and step grandchildren, DJ Pierce, Brandon Lingerfelt, and Leeah Lowman.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Minister Paul Balch officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
