Patricia "Patsy" Shelton Chester

Patricia “Patsy” Shelton Chester, 74, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton.

She was born November 7, 1948 in Marion to the late Paris Dillard Shelton and Ruth Radford Shelton.

Patsy loved the beach and the beauty of the ocean as well as flowers. She was known for her excellent artistic abilities when it came to painting and coloring. She enjoyed collecting angels, gemstones, and movies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Garfield Edd Chester; and a brother, Dillard Shelton.

She is survived by her sons, Jesse Alan Chester and Kenneth Chester and wife, Nikki; four grandchildren, Isaac Chester, Madison Randolph, Kaidence Randolph, and Myles Chester; brother, Michael Shelton (Toni); and her best friend, Robin Buchanan.
