Patricia "Pat" Kennedy

Patricia “Pat” Mosteller Kennedy, age 69, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation in Nebo.  Born in McDowell County, North Carolina on March 29, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hessie Vaughn Mosteller.

An avid reader, Pat was a member of Yancey Street Baptist Church. She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her two children, Billy Kennedy and Tracy Kennedy (Sampson Twitty); one sister, Helen Liedkie; three brothers, Jerry Mosteller (Reba), Terry Mosteller, and Teddy Mosteller. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Matthew Kennedy, Julia Kennedy, Heather Kennedy, Freedom Kennedy, and Devon Harwood, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service in Marion, with Pastor Dean Owenby officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
