Patricia "Pat" Boal

Patricia “Pat” Boal, age 58, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away at her residence on Monday, March 19, 2018, following a lengthy battle of declining health.  A native of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, born June 28, 1959, she was the daughter of the late James Allen Bailor and Deloris Rowles Bailor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Andrew Lines, who passed away in 2002; and two brothers, John Bailor and Les Bailor.

Pat, who loved her family, especially her grandkids, was a dedicated store manager at Samir’s Quick Stop #2 on Sugar Hill Road in Marion for many years. 

She is survived by four children, Amanda Roper (Tim Meadows), Angela Mosteller (Jimmy), Scott Boal (Lollie Russell) and Linda Kesecker (Josh Lane); one brother, James Allen Bailor (Tammy); and one sister, Sandy Maines (Ron).  Pat is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, Colden, Julia, Kaitlyn, Breanna, Bradley, Samantha, Madison, Gabe, Deven, Jada, Ella, Layla, Layden and Jaythan; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the home of Pat’s daughter, Amanda, 2316 US 70 East in Marion.
