Patricia Ann Morgan

Patricia “Trish” Jones Morgan, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Asheville Health Care Center. She was born on December 7, 1944 to the late Lewis and Margaret Huffman Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Morgan; two brothers, Glenn (Cotton) Jones and Paul Ray Jones.

Trish attended New Manna Baptist Church, and enjoyed her yearly visits with her siblings in Pigeon Forge, Tennesee. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. 

Trish leaves behind to cherish her memory, two children, Sarah L. Bradley (Matthew) and Janet E. Ramsey (Rick); four sisters, Doris Freshour, Beulah Suttle, Faye Conner and Frances Greene and one brother, Donald Jones. Also surviving Trish are her three grandsons, James Gouge (Ashley), Ryan Morgan and Tyler Bradley and one great-granddaughter, Araya Sunshine Gouge.

A funeral service to honor Patricia’s life will take place on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Beam Funeral Service Chapel with Reverends Tony Shirley and Matt McDaniels officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place following the service at McDowell Memorial Park.
