Patricia Anderson

Patricia Lane Anderson, age 67, of Marion, North Carolina, departed to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville following a brief illness.  Born in Rutherford County, North Carolina on August 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late J.C. Lane and Margaret Handsel Lane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Anderson who passed away on January 26, 2003.

A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Patricia, who was also known as “Nana”, was an avid animal lover.  She loved to watch her “grandbabies” show horses at many different events. 

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Becky Lytle (Mark); three grandchildren, Sydney Lytle, Chloe Lytle and Graham Lytle; and five siblings, Cathy Motsinger (Smitty), Bob Lane (Lynn), Carol Dobbs (Dennis), Chris Lane (Regina) and Margaret Ann Lane.

A celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Dennis Love officiating.  Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
