Orville "Bob" Lee Robinson

Orville “Bob” Lee Robinson, 73, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Mission Hospital McDowell.

He was born in Spruce Pine on December 20, 1949 to the late Glen and Jane Buchanan Robinson. A sister, Caroleen Correll, also precedes him in death.

Bob worked at Auria, formerly Collins & Aikman, for over 50 years. He was well-liked by all who knew him, especially his co-workers. He enjoyed grilling out for his family and friends. He was an avid and longtime fan of the Atlanta Braves, NASCAR, and classic country music. Bob will be remembered as a kind-hearted man who enjoyed cutting up and making people laugh.

He is survived by his wife, Loreen Robinson; daughter, Vanessa Stafford; grandson, Reagan Stafford; and two siblings, Carroll Robinson and Anna Radford.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
