Nellie Davis

Nellie Marler Davis, age 85, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 while at Rose Hill Retirement Community in Marion.  A native of McDowell County, born December 4, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Annie Worley Marler. 

A member of Cornerstone Church of God in Marion, Nellie enjoyed working in her yard and loved to work in her garden. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Davis; and one brother, Troy Marler.

Nellie is survived by her son, Charles Davis and his wife, Heather of Marion; three grandchildren, Maleigha Jimison, Samuel Davis and Brandi Rodriguez; and one great grandson, Syris Rodriguez. 

In keeping with Nellie’s wishes, a private service and interment will be held at a later date.
