Nadene Boyd

Nadene Wisener Boyd, age 69, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the McDowell Hospital.  A native of Burke County, North Carolina, born March 31, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Vivian Bounouse Wisener. 

Nadene, who enjoyed cooking, loved spending time with her family and cats.

She is survived by one daughter, Allison Alvarez of Washington, North Carolina; two sisters, Patt Wisener of Nebo; and Marianne Blair of Suffolk, Virginia; one grandson, Zeke Alvarez; and one nephew, Jarrett Wisener.  Miss Nadene is also survived by her special friends, Toney and Karen Lookabill; and Bill Robinson; her feline friends, Tootsie, Maxie and many others. 

A private interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Valdese.
