Molly "Jenny" Andrews

Molly “Jenny” Andrews, of Nebo, North Carolina, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, June 30, 2017, just one day before her 79th birthday. The last surviving child of 13, she was the daughter of the late Ken and Texie Hughes, she was born in Avery County, North Carolina on July 01, 1938.

A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, Jenny was the family “Rock”.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kelcy “Tud” Andrews, who passed away on June 29, 1998.

She is survived by three children, Linda Smith (Bryan), Mike Andrews (Brenda); and Brenda Andrews; four grandchildren, Danny, Stacy, Josh (Laura) and Travis; and four great grandchildren, Asa, Starla, Annie and Kelsey.  Jenny is also survived by a special nephew, Ned Guinn and his wife Lisa; and their son, Colby.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 03, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory in Marion.
