Misty Marie Smith

Misty Marie Dragon Smith, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at her residence.  Born in Berea, Ohio on September 27, 1979, she was the daughter of Jerry Dragon of Cleveland, Ohio and the late Katherine Irvin Campbell. 

Misty, who never met a stranger, would do for others before herself.  She loved to cook, but most of all, spending time with her family.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 14 years, Dennis Smith of the home; one daughter, Emerald Smith of the home; three sons, Caleb Smith (Billie) of Old Fort, Jacob Smith of Marion and Aaron Smith of North Cove; one brother, Kris Dragon of Hickory; and one sister, Nikki Henderson (Mark) of Clairmont.  Misty is also survived by three grandchildren, Aniyah Smith, Jalyssa Smith and Jaden Smith; special uncle, Paul Crooks; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory in Marion.
