On the evening of Sunday, May 09, 2021, Mildred “Marilyn” Wilson, 82, of High Point, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord.
A native of High Point, Marilyn was born November 08, 1938 to the late Floyd Leo Wilson and Mildred Rema Wilson.
Marilyn worked in the furniture industry her entire life. For many years, she worked at Thomasville Furniture, where she retired in 2002. Marilyn was a member of Westchester Baptist Church in High Point where she served the Lord for many years. She loved her family and was a very generous person. Marilyn operated a Christmas tree farm for 15 plus years in Hampton, Tennessee with her best friends, Gus and Mary Ruth Lohr.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Janice W. Dalton.
Survivors include her two brothers, Ted Wilson (Betty) of Greensboro and Art Wilson (Janice) of Buffalo, New York; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews including special nephews, Rev. Drew Dalton (Martha) and Matthew Dalton, and special great nieces, Rebekah, Abigail, and Hannah Dalton.
In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned at this time.
