Michael Dale Smith

On the evening of Friday, August 07, 2020, Mr. Michael Dale Smith, age 53, of Black Mountain, North Carolina, made that wonderful cross over into Heaven at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.  The son of the late Roy and Lunnette Scruggs Smith, Michael was a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, born on February 06, 1967.

Michael, although handicapped from birth, enjoyed watching football, wrestling and eating his chocolates.  His family was the love of his life and will be deeply missed by all who he met along the way.

Mr. Smith is survived by his loving sister, Angelia Earley and her husband, Jackie.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney, South Carolina where Michael’s sister Angelia will share fond memories of her brother.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the R2 Crew at BMNTC for all the Andre the Giant walks and love that was shown to Michael.
