Michael Dean Lawing

Michael Dean Lawing, age 49, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 07, 2019 at his residence.  The son of the late Billy Dean Lawing (2018) and Donna Faye King (2013), he was born in Burke County, North Carolina on March 16, 1969. 

Michael, who loved computers and technology, but most of his family, is survived by one brother, Billy Roland Lawing and his wife, Wanda of Nebo; two sisters, Sonya Gladden and her husband, John of Marion and Tonya Wilson of Marion; aunt, Becky Johnson; aunt and uncle, Mike and Betty Silver; aunt, Peggy Cook; and cousins, Devon and Ester Johnson and Rosetta Clarkson; along with numerous other cousins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Devon, Everett, Anastasia, D’Artagnan, Desiree’, Zane, Colton, Tristan and Shelly Harmon and her husband, Kelly and their children, Grace and Jayden. 

A time of remembrance will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory in Marion.
