Michael Paul Conner

Michael Paul Conner, age 41, of the Montford Cove Community, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 03, 2021 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville.  The son of Junior and Diane Conner, he was born in Rutherfordton, North Carolina on August 16, 1979.

An avid collector of all types of “nick-nacks”, Michael would always say, “somebody might need that one day”.  Having had an amazing heart, he was always helping those in need.  In fact, Michael is still helping those in need following his passing. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Maygen Hardin Conner of Rutherfordton; maternal grandmother, Betty Sue Davis of Marion; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and several special friends. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 09, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service & Crematory, 2170 Rutherford Road in Marion.  A celebration of Michael’s life will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Mr. Charlie Bailey officiating.
