Michael Lee Brown

Michael Lee Brown, age 55, of Marion, NC passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 23, 2017.

Mr. Brown was born February 7, 1962 in McDowell County, NC to Juanita Ann Wilds Brown of Nebo, NC and to the late Russell Lee Brown.  He had an outgoing personality and a great sense of humor.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors.

In addition to his mother, left behind to cherish Mr. Brown’s memory are two children, Steven and Christina Brown both of Morganton, NC; three grandchildren; three brothers, Dean Brown of Newport News, VA and David and Charles Brown of Nebo, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Trinity Hill Free Will Baptist Church.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 27, 2017 at McDowell Memorial Park with Rev. Gary Lewis officiating.
