Melvin Lee Daniels

Michael Daniels, loving brother and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 05, 2017 at his residence with his loving family by his side, at the age of 45.  The son of the late Billy and Anna Beam Daniels, Michael was born in Avery County, North Carolina on March 17, 1972. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Daniels and Shelia Daniels.

An avid Carolina Tar Heels fan, Michael also enjoyed watching NASCAR, but most of all, loved spending time with his family and friends.  He was a member of Elk Park Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memories are two brothers, Billy Daniels (Felicia) of Vilas, North Carolina and Danny Beam (Wilma) of Spear, North Carolina; three sisters, Tammy Webb (Wade) of Elk Park, North Carolina, Sharon Daniels of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Kimberly Patterson (Larry) of Hampton, Tennessee. He is also survived by a number of friends. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 08, 2017 at Elk Park Baptist Church. A service to honor the life of Michael will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Revs. Donald Gragg, Brian Griffith and Jimmy Hicks officiating.  Interment will follow the service at McCoury’s Rock Church Cemetery in Newland.
