Mary "Sissy" Kathryn Jones

Mary “Sissy” Kathryn McDaniel Jones, age 84, of Nebo, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Deer Park Health & Rehabilitation in Nebo.  A native of Bladen County, North Carolina, born December 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late James and Katie King McDaniel.

Mary, for several years, was a secretary for Pilot Life Insurance Company in Greensboro and later became a lab technician at Columbus County Hospital.  She was preceded in death by, in addition to her parents, her husband, Paul Jones, who passed away in 2000.

She is survived by one sister, Anne Gooden and her husband, Walton of Nebo; and several nieces and nephews.
