Mary Louise Killian Taylor

Mrs. Mary Louise Killian Taylor, age 89, of Nebo, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at her residence. She was born in McDowell County on March 2, 1934 to the late David Killian and Pearl Haynes Killian. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Taylor and one son Edward Lewis.

Louise was a longtime member of the Rocky Pass Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and shopping. She was a five-generation grandmother. Louise mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her three children; Dianne Patton (William), Kenneth Lewis (Tina), Carroll Lewis; daughter-in-Law Vicki Lewis; and a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rocky Pass Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Sailors officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers are family and children of her two best friends.

Interment will follow at Rocky Pass Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Nebo, North Carolina.
