Mary Jones

Mary Michella Jones, age 44, of Boone, North Carolina passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Watauga Medical Center with her loving family beside her.  Mrs. Jones was born June 18, 1973 in Rutherford County, North Carolina to the late Wayne Martin and Margaret Holloway Killian.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, David Lowery and a sister, Vicki Walker.

Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crafts such as crocheting, painting and knitting. She will be truly missed by all that knew her.

Left behind to cherish Mary’s memories are her husband, James Jones, Jr.; two children, Susan Jones and Donnie Jones; one step-daughter, Jaime Blevins; her siblings, Johnny Lowery, Tammy Williams, Paula Grindstaff and Tony Lowery. Also surviving Mary are two grandchildren, Aidan Roland and Malachi Buchanan; and her mother and father in law Eunice and Gerald Connor.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Beam Funeral Service & Crematory.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jimmy Buchanan officiating.  Burial will follow the service at McDowell Memorial Park.
