Mary Frances Hogan Robinson

Mary Frances Hogan Robinson, 81, of Marion, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at Mission Hospital McDowell.

A native of McDowell County, Frances was born September 27, 1941 to the late Leroy Hogan and Dora Chapman Hogan. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Denver Robinson; daughter, Kim Rector; her brother, Ed Hogan; and her sister, Doris Hooker.

Frances loved going to church and getting out and going to town. She enjoyed going out to eat with her family. She had a big heart for any and all animals that came to her home. Her family meant the world to her, and her great grandchildren brought her the most joy.

She is survived by her son, Charles Dwayne Robinson; grandchildren, Shanna Robinson, Sheila Rector; Nnekka Robinson; and Billie Hill; and her great grandchildren, Denver Rector, Lilly Fox, Nova Teague, Gunner Pressley, Paislee Teague, and Charles Hill.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Mrs. Eva Mae Hogan officiating. Entombment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m.
