Mary "Boots" Ramsey Lovelace

Mary “Boots” Ramsey Lovelace, age 61, of Spindale, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.  A native of Bessemer City, North Carolina, born July 28, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Bernice Smith Benton.

A loving mother and sister, Mary was a friend to all who knew her.  In her spare time, she enjoyed working with her flowers.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Shelia Canipe.

Mary is survived by one son, Charles J. Ramsey (Bobbie Archer); two sisters, Donna Crowe and Gloria Anderson; and close friend, Lula Shannon.

The family will have a time of remembrance on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at the home of Mrs. Lovelace in Spindale.
