Martin Eugene Cooper

Martin Eugene Cooper, 63, of Nebo, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at his residence.

He was born in McDowell County on April 12, 1961. Marty will be remembered for his wonderful wood-working skills. He enjoyed making custom birdhouses and various pieces of furniture. His family will forever cherish his creations. Marty also enjoyed wildlife. Whether he was bear hunting or fishing from a pier on the coast, Marty loved being in the outdoors. He will be greatly missed. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Eugene Cooper.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Browning Cooper; his sister, Ellen Hobson (Tim); and one niece, Ashley Hobson.

The family will hold a private service at Beam Funeral Service.
