Martha “Lucille” Croom Creasman, 89, of Old Fort, went to be with the Lord at Emerald Ridge Rehabilitation and Care Center on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
Lucille was born on June 27, 1934 to the late Henry Croom and the late Mary Ida Noblitt.
She was a member of Catawba Falls Baptist Church. Lucille worked in the Cohana Knitting Mill for many years and was known as a hardworking woman. She loved being outdoors, especially fishing and enjoyed having the kids over at the farm. Lucille loved baking pies and sending cards to others. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Lucille is preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Edwin Parker and her second husband J.B. Creasman.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Floyd Edwin Parker, Jr., Michael Parker, Randy Parker and Karen McIntuff (Timothy); nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service at 11:00 am with the Rev. Phillip Wishon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 pm. Burial will take place at Cherry Springs Memorial Park in Old Fort following the service.
