Mark Edward Barber

Mr. Mark Edward Barber, age 35, of Marion North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday March 10, 2017 at his residence. Born in Rutherford County, North Carolina on March 3, 1982, he is the son of Ron Barber and the late Martha Reep Barber.

Mark was a member of the Gethsemane Free Will Baptist Church where he occasionally would play the piano and sing. He was a Clemson Tigers fan, and really enjoyed watching his niece Braelyn play basketball. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

In addition to his mother he is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Paul Barber.

Mark is survived by his father, Ron Barber (Linda); twin brother Matthew Barber (Julie); two nieces Braelyn and Piper Barber; paternal grandmother Jean Barber; maternal grandparents Reverend Ralph and Linda Reep.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Murphys Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Ralph Reep officiating.
