Margaret Howell Truett

     Margaret Howell Truett, 86, of Nebo, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Mission McDowell Hospital in Marion.

     Margaret was born in Clevland County, NC, on September 21, 1937, to the late Roosevelt Howell and Alice Beaver Howell. She was married to the late Bob Truett and was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. Margaret retired from Drexel Furniture after many years of dedicated service. She will be greatly missed.

     In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Brenda Truett; two sons, Randey Lee Truett and Rocky Truett; and a brother, David Howell. 

     She is survived by two sisters, Judy Lloyd and Patricia Mathis; two brothers, Bobby Howell (Chrissy) and Jimmy Howell (Sallie); and a number of nieces and nephews.

     A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., prior to the service, at Beam Funeral Service.
