Margaret Moore Morgan

Margaret Moore Morgan, age 81, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Sunday morning, November 07, 2021 and is now waiting for her family to meet her by the river.

She was born in Haywood County on August 08, 1940 to the late Lloyd and Nellie Moore.

Margaret loved the Lord above all else. She enjoyed being outside and enjoying God’s creation. She got great joy out of watching hummingbirds. Margaret loved her family immensely. All of her kids, grandkids, brothers, and sisters each held special places in her heart.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Robert Morgan “Hoss”; a sister, Dorothy Hege; and a grandson, Scott Davis.

She is survived by her ten children, Lovada Davis, Doyle Morgan, Johnny Morgan (DeEtta), Gail Gallion (Kenneth), Carolyn Proctor, Phyllis Riddle (James), Jason “YT” Morgan, Faith Hensley (Kyle Brown), Hope Hensley (Dylan Parker), and Joshua Morgan; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; six siblings, Buford Moore, Kathy Clodfelter (Chip), Barbara Poole (Clarence), Hank Moore (Marsha), James Moore (Angela), Vickie Morgan (Billy); and her precious dog, Boo.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Rev. Victor Worley officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
