Margaret Ann Cope Freeman

Margaret Ann Cope Freeman, 78, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at her residence.

A native of South Carolina, Margaret was born December 05, 1942 to the late Sidney Cope and Sadie Mole Cope.

Margaret worked as a respiratory therapist for 38 years. She was a fun, energetic, and loving woman.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Caskell Freeman; and a son, Caskell Freeman, Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Chapman and Natalie Payton; two grandchildren, Heather Chapman and Cassie Payton; two great grandchildren, Mckynna and Nicolas; two siblings, David Cope and Jeannie Cope; her sister-in-law, Catherine Tuten; nieces and nephews, Alan Dempsey (Tracey), Allison Kelley (Mike), Jacob Tuten, and Lisa Courtney; great nephews and niece, Jordan Heath, Justin Plummer, and Robin Plummer, and her son, Ayden.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in South Carolina.
