Marcus Antonio Freshour

Marcus Antonio Freshour, 52, of Marion, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023.

Marcus was born in Burke County, on March, 9, 1971 to the late Johnny Floyd Freshour and Betty Jean Hughes Freshour. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kristy Freshour and son Joshua Freshour.

Marcus was known as a true Viking Warrior. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory along with his mother, Betty Jean Freshour, are his son, Johnathon Freshour; sister, Pamlia Freshour Lytle; brother, Russell Freshour his wife April Freshour; nieces Brittany and Tasha Freshour; a nephew Rusty Freshour, Jr. and Marcus’ girlfriend, Brittany Stackable.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 3:00 pm at his home.
