Madison Ainsley Carswell

In the early morning hours of Monday, October 2, 2017, Madison Ainsley Carswell, age 18, of Nebo, as a result of a motor vehicle accident, and unexpectedly, went home to be with the Lord.  Born in Burke County, North Carolina on January 7, 1999, she was the daughter of Stephanie Carswell of Nebo.

A graduate from New Manna Christian School, Madison enjoyed doing cosmetics.  She was attending Cross Memorial Baptist Church in Marion.  Madison will be missed by all who knew her, especially her joy of laughing and wonderful smile that she shared. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Grayson and Bryson Carswell; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Joyce Carswell; maternal great grandmother, Ruth Willis; one aunt, Jennifer Carswell Cable (Keith); and cousin, Spencer Cable.

A celebration of Madison’s life will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Cross Memorial Baptist Church with Revs. Matt McDaniel, Ryan Bennett and Doug McGee officiating.  Interment will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
