Luis Alberto Herrera

Luis Alberto Herrera, age 63, of Marion, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, October 03, 2019 at St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville. 

Born in El Transito, San Miguel on May 19, 1956, Luis was an amazing father, loyal friend and he lived life to the fullest.  A member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Nebo, he enjoyed fishing.

Luis is survived by his two daughters, Loraina Herrera and Adrianna Herrera; one son, Luis Enrique Herrera; special friends, Barbara and Bart Lebrun; along with countless friends and coworkers. 

A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Herrera will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Ray Stockton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the education fund for Mr. Herrera’s daughter, P.O. Box 939, Old Fort, North Carolina 28762.
