Lucille Carroll Riddle

Lucille Carroll Riddle, age 95, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Memorial Campus. A native of Yancey County, Lucille was born on October 26, 1925 to the late DeCator Carroll and Julia Jones.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Riddle; her children, Vernon Riddle, Jimmy Riddle, Ricky Riddle, Doris Riddle, Teddy Riddle, Sharlotte Riddle and Tammy Jane Riddle; grandchildren, Gary Wayne, Denise and Nicole Effler and one great-granddaughter, Rachel Marshburn.

Left to cherish her memories are two children, Floyd Riddle and Charlie Riddle; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and many special friends.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at South Estatoe Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Lucille's residence, on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
