Lucille Marie Ledford

     Lucille Marie Jenkins Ledford, 71, of Marion, was received into the loving arms of Jesus, Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at her residence.

     Lucille was born in McDowell County, NC on June 22, 1952, to the late Sarah Nellie Hollifield. She attended Muddy Creek Baptist Church in Nebo. Lucille was a prayer warrior who dedicated her life to the Lord and spreading the Gospel of Jesus. She prayed hard for each and every member of her family. She loved visiting children of the community and was known for taking them to Church on the bus. She will be greatly missed.

     Lucille was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Bodie” Frisbee.

     Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Joel “Joey” Robinette (Toni), Lacie Robinette, and Eric Frisbee (Angie); two sisters, Della Hollifield and Ruby Hollifield; a brother, Homer Jenkins; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

     A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Muddy Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Daniel McMahan will officiate. Burial will follow at Muddy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
